The resources on the surface are heavily restricted, which forces you to take massive risks by exploring hidden cave systems just to scrape together enough gear to stay alive. The mob damage is also noticeably buffed, making nighttime an absolute nightmare. You actually have to play smart, constantly watch your hunger bar, and pick your fights very carefully instead of just rushing into the dark with a basic stone sword.
The Ultimate Endgame Goal
The actual objective isn't just to hide in a safe house for a hundred days and let the timer run out. To genuinely beat the challenge, you have to survive the brutal daily cycle, build up a solid arsenal from scratch, and eventually head into the End to kill the Dragon without dying a single time. It is a massive test of patience and game knowledge, built specifically for players who are completely bored of how easy standard vanilla survival has gotten.
