Haunted House Map

Minigame Maps / Puzzle Maps

Most horror maps just trap you in a dark room and spam zombies at you, but this one actually leans hard into classic psychological horror. The setup is a staple of the genre: you just bought a massive, dirt-cheap house way off the main road, completely ignoring all the local rumors that the place is horribly cursed.

Building the Tension
The second you actually try to spend your first night there, everything immediately goes sideways. The creator did a really good job pacing the scares instead of just throwing everything at you all at once. The power randomly dies, you start hearing creepy crying echoing down the empty halls, and there is a constant, heavy feeling that something is actively watching you from the shadows while you try to navigate your new base.

Nowhere to Hide
It goes way beyond just using spooky sound effects to creep you out. The map actively messes with your head by having weird figures briefly pop into existence and then instantly vanish the second you try to look right at them. You basically have to stumble around a pitch-black, unfamiliar house trying to figure out what is going on, all while feeling like you are being hunted in your own home.
