VEupdate Addon will update weapons, add more swords of different types and characteristics. You can even craft an ender sword in Minecraft.
Installation:
— Download McPack
— Use the Minecraft
— Install McAddon or McPack files, just open it for this;
— Select new textures in the settings;
— Done.
