Then you’ve got Crooked and Candlebearers, which are creatures that can only move when they aren’t being looked at. That flips the whole chase dynamic into a staring contest. You’ll find yourself walking backward, checking angles, and doing that paranoid head-turning where you’re trying to keep them frozen while still navigating the room. It’s the kind of mechanic that makes even simple corridors feel stressful, because the threat isn’t just damage—it’s your own attention slipping for a second.

PRESSURE Mod is clearly designed for players who like being surprised and don’t want everything explained like a wiki page. It’s best played like a horror run: slow down, pay attention, and treat every new encounter as something you need to learn. Since the addon includes hidden secrets and the creator doesn’t want to spoil all the creatures, it’s the perfect pack for a “go in blind” session with friends, where half the fun is screaming, arguing about what just happened, and slowly figuring out which monsters you can outplay and which ones you just have to avoid.
