Bedrock Chunk Loader Addon

Mods / Mods 1.21

Bedrock Chunk Loader Mod — craft chunk loaders, keep your farms and redstone running from anywhere, and give admins real control so servers don’t turn into lag soup.

Bedrock Chunk Loader Mod (BedrockChunkLoader) is basically a “technical survival quality-of-life” addon for Minecraft Bedrock / MCPE that fixes the classic problem: you build something smart, then it instantly stops doing its job the second you walk away. With this addon, you can place special chunk loader blocks that keep an area loaded even when you’re exploring far from home, so farms, item sorters, and redstone contraptions can keep working in the background while you’re out doing other stuff. If you’ve ever come back to an empty storage room because your farm froze the moment you left, this is the type of addon that makes your world feel like it has real momentum.

The core mechanic is straightforward: place a chunk loader, and it keeps designated chunks active, simulating that “always-on” behavior technical players chase. What’s cool is the radius system. It’s configurable from 2 to 6 chunks, creating active areas from 5×5 up to 13×13 chunks, so you can tune it to match the size of what you’re trying to keep alive. That matters a lot because not every build needs the same coverage. A small farm might only need a tighter zone, while a bigger automation setup might need a wider area to stay consistent.

The addon also gives you clear visual feedback so you’re not guessing what’s running. Active loaders show a green tick (✓) and even emit light level 10, while inactive loaders show a red cross (✕) with no light. There’s floating text above the block showing status and owner info, which is huge on servers where multiple people are building near each other and you want to know what’s yours and what’s active without digging through menus.

For admins and realm owners, Bedrock Chunk Loader Mod goes way beyond “here’s a block, good luck.” There’s an admin panel accessible via /mygen:chunkloaders that lets staff manage everything: set a maximum number of loaders per player (1–20), set the default chunk radius, view details for every loader (including location and placement time), toggle specific loaders on or off, teleport to loader locations to inspect them, and even enable or disable all chunk loaders globally if performance starts getting sketchy. That global control is the difference between “cool addon” and “server-friendly addon,” because it acknowledges that chunk loading is powerful and needs guardrails.

Owner protection is built in too. Only the player who placed a chunk loader can remove it, unless an admin has the chunk_admin tag. That’s a big deal for multiplayer because it prevents random griefers from shutting down your entire automation network just by breaking one block. As for getting the blocks, you can obtain chunk loaders in creative mode or craft them with an expensive-but-fair recipe that uses diamonds, ender pearls, and a beacon, which keeps the feature feeling like a late-game utility instead of an early-game shortcut.

If you’re running farms, redstone systems, or any automated setup that you want to keep producing while you’re out exploring, Bedrock Chunk Loader Mod is basically the backbone addon that makes your world feel persistent in Minecraft Bedrock / MCPE—without leaving admins powerless to manage performance.
