Beyond Storage & Smelting Mod (also pitched as “Beyond Chests & Furnaces”) is all about making the boring parts of Minecraft Bedrock / MCPE progression—sorting loot and cooking stacks of stuff—feel smoother as your world grows. Instead of being stuck with the same single chest size and a basic furnace forever, this addon expands the classic system with 8 types of furnaces, 8 types of chests, and 4 furnace upgrades. It’s also listed as having Portuguese and English translations, so it’s meant to be easy to use without guessing what menus or items mean.

The chest progression is the star here, because it gives you real “storage goals” that match how survival actually scales. You start stepping up into bigger containers instead of building endless ugly chest walls. The capacities are clearly defined, so you know exactly what you’re upgrading into: an Iron Chest gives you 54 slots, then you can move through higher tiers like Golden Chest (72), Amethyst Chest (90), Emerald Chest (108), Diamond Chest (126), and finally Netherite Chest with a massive 144 slots. That ladder makes sense for long-term worlds where you’re mining, exploring structures, and constantly drowning in random drops.



Two of the special chests are built around utility and safety, not just slots. The Magnetic Chest keeps 54 slots but adds a magnet ability that can pull items within a 10×10 radius, which is insanely useful for messy farms, mob drops, mining cleanup, or any “I just exploded a bunch of blocks and now my floor is covered in items” moment. Instead of running around like a vacuum cleaner, you can let the chest do the collecting. On the defensive side, the Obsidian Chest has 126 slots and explosion resistance, and the Netherite Chest adds both explosion resistance and immunity to fire and lava. That last part is huge if you’ve ever lost storage to a lava accident, a fire spread, or a surprise blast near your base. It turns your most valuable storage into something you can trust in riskier builds.

Beyond Storage & Smelting Mod also includes the furnace side—8 furnace types plus 4 upgrades—so it’s not only about hoarding items, it’s about processing them faster and keeping your workflow moving.
