Tree Capitator And More Mod — a fully customizable “capitator” addon that lets you pick exactly which blocks get capitated and tweak everything in-game through the Capitator Settings item, no experimental features needed.
Tree Capitator And More Mod is basically the “finally, I get to decide how this works” version of a capitator addon for Minecraft Bedrock. Instead of forcing one fixed list or one behavior on everyone, it’s built around customization. You can set your own blocks that you want to capitate, remove entries you don’t want anymore, and change settings directly in-game using a Capitator Settings item. That’s the big flex: you’re not editing files or messing with weird setup steps—your control lives inside the world through a UI. It also doesn’t require experimental features, which makes it feel more plug-in-and-play for survival worlds where you just want it to work without extra toggles.
When you start a new world, the addon already comes with a default list of blocks and the tool requirements for each one, so it’s ready right away. It’s not only logs either, which is what makes it feel like “and more” instead of just another tree chop helper. A bunch of ores are included by default: Diamond Ore and Deepslate Diamond Ore work with any pickaxe, gold ore (regular and deepslate) needs an iron pickaxe or better, and Nether Gold Ore is set to require a gold pickaxe or better. Coal Ore and Deepslate Coal Ore use any pickaxe, while Iron Ore and Deepslate Iron Ore need a stone pickaxe or better. Lapis Ore and Deepslate Lapis Ore also require a stone pickaxe or better, and Emerald Ore (regular and deepslate) requires an iron pickaxe or better. Redstone Ore and Deepslate Redstone Ore are set to iron pickaxe or better, Quartz Ore needs a stone pickaxe or better, and Ancient Debris is locked behind a diamond pickaxe or better. On the wood side, it covers all the big log/stem types with the same rule: Oak, Spruce, Birch, Jungle, Acacia, Dark Oak, Crimson Stem, Warped Stem, Cherry Log, and Pale Oak Log all require any type of axe, which keeps the logic consistent and easy to remember.
The best part is you’re not stuck with those defaults forever. If there’s something you don’t want capitated anymore, you remove it right from the UI. You interact with the Capitator Settings item to open the menu, hit the option called Remove Capitator Data, select the block you want to remove, and confirm it. After that, that block won’t be capitated anymore. That’s huge for survival balance, because you can tailor the addon to your world. If you want it to be mostly about trees, you can trim it down. If you want it to help with certain resource blocks too, you keep those entries and play around them. Tree Capitator And More Mod is basically a customizable rulebook inside your Minecraft Bedrock world: default entries to get you started, clear tool requirements, and an in-game way to remove blocks so the capitator behavior matches exactly how you want to play.
