Colorful Armor Bar Addon

Mods / Mods 1.21

Colorful Armor Bar – know your tier at a glance.

Tired of the same blue armor pips no matter what you’re wearing? This addon swaps the vanilla armor bar for a color-coded one that matches your gear, so your HUD actually tells you something useful while you play.

It’s simple: put the pack on, suit up, and the bar changes color based on your current armor set. No commands, no menus, just instant feedback on your HUD. Super handy if you swap kits a lot, record/stream, or play long sessions and want a quick “what am I wearing again?” check without opening your inventory every five minutes.

Supported tiers (matching bar colors):

Leather – warm brown/earthy tone

Chainmail – light gray/steel

Iron – bright silver

Gold – bold yellow/gold

Diamond – teal/cyan

Netherite – deep dark/purple-ish

A few tips from messing with it:

Treat it like any other resource pack. Drop it in and move it to the top of your active packs so its HUD changes win over anything below it.

Works great with PvP or survival UI packs; if you’re stacking multiple HUD edits, put this one last to keep the colored armor bar.

It’s purely visual. No stat changes, no gameplay tweaks—just a cleaner read on your protection level while you run fights, caves, or bosses.

Why it’s nice: quick reads matter. In UHC, hardcore, or arenas, the faster you process info, the better your decisions. A gold kit vs. an iron kit should look different on your screen—and now it does.

If you want your HUD to match your drip, Colorful Armor Bar is a tiny change that makes Minecraft feel a bit smarter without touching balance.
