SWORD EXPANSION (Knight Shadow) Addon

Mods / Mods 1.21

SWORD EXPANSION (Knight Shadow) Mod — a full rack of new blades for duels, bosses, and server rewards that actually change how you fight.

Drop this in and melee stops feeling one-note. You’re not just swinging a generic cutter anymore—you’re choosing a blade for the job. Some swords hit in tight, fast windows that reward clean footwork; others trade speed for heavy stagger that opens a safe follow-up. The point is variety without weird gimmicks. Craft a starter pair, stash a backup in a chest by your gate, and head out. Even early on, swapping styles between caves, arenas, and open-field skirmishes makes runs feel fresh, and you’ll notice fewer “panic spam” deaths because your weapon choice matches the space you’re fighting in.

For PvP, treat the lineup like a toolkit. A lighter sword excels at chase pressure and shield baits; a heavier profile punishes greedy peeks and breaks stand-still trades. Build small habits around each: with a quick blade, strafe tight, pre-aim corners, and tap-tap out before chip damage stacks; with a bruiser, play for the whiff, step in on recovery, and cash out with one confident swing. Custom crosshair cues and on-hand descriptions mean you always know what a weapon expects from you before the duel starts, so you can map your timing without guesswork. On touch and controller, nudge sensitivity down a hair when you run heavier blades—clean diagonals win fights more than raw speed.

Boss nights are where these swords shine in co-op. One player anchors with a stagger-friendly pick to create openings, another runs a faster blade to punish the back side of attacks, and the third handles adds and cleanup. Call roles, rotate after each attempt, and you’ll feel the clear come together because the kit supports actual teamwork rather than everyone face-tanking at once. Between pulls, drop your extra swords into a labeled barrel so the next run starts instantly; nothing kills momentum like rummaging for gear while the squad is ready at the door.

Servers get easy mileage from the mod’s reward angle. Tuck select blades into dungeon chests, raid payouts, or ladder prizes and you’ve got a progression loop people will log in for. Because recipes are visible from the first craft tables, nobody cries foul—players can grind their way to favorites or chase curated drops in events. If you run an SMP, post weekend brackets near spawn, enforce simple “best-of-three, no gapples” rules, and let the swords do the storytelling. You’ll get cleaner duels, fewer ties, and way better screenshots. The game hasn’t changed—you have. With Knight Shadow’s set in your hotbar, melee finally plays the way it looks in your head: readable, deliberate, and dangerously fun.
