Supernova's Swamp Villages Mod — turns forgotten marshes into cozy, living swamp towns built around fishing, trading, and quiet river survival.
Instead of empty, soggy biomes you sprint through once and ignore forever, your world now hides clusters of Supernova-style swamp villages tucked along the waterline. As you follow rivers or drift through the mist in a little boat, you start spotting lantern light, docks and cabins rising out of the fog, each settlement packed with its own swamp villagers. These places lean hard into their setting: more fishing cottages, more shepherd corners, more masonry spots, so the jobs you see actually match the landscape around them. That bias makes early survival feel great in these areas. You can set up a starter base right beside a new swamp village, trade fish and wool instead of sprinting around for crops, and start scouting for that one librarian who rolls the repair enchant you’ve been praying for.
Because the villages are scattered across the overworld, they quietly become natural checkpoints in long adventures. Maybe you’re exploring deep into new territory and hit one just as night falls, using its huts as a safe stop before diving back into the wild. Maybe you decide to turn a big swamp into your home region, connecting several of these towns with raised paths and bridges, turning fishing cabins into player houses and mason stalls into shared storage or crafting corners. The layouts are based on the swamp villages from Legends of Cenarax but reworked with a fresh look, so if you already play with that pack, this feels like a visual upgrade rather than a clash. When you’re running an older Legends of Cenarax version, you can simply put this behavior pack above it in the load order and the swamp settlements will automatically use Supernova’s version instead.
On servers and Realms, Supernova's Swamp Villages Mod is perfect for people who want a themed spawn or faction hub that isn’t just “generic plains village number twenty.” One group can claim a marsh town as their fishing port, another can build a trade road that links three swamp villages together, and everyone gets a spot that feels distinct from the usual grassland setups. Between the extra structure variety, specialized villagers, and the ambiance of huts sitting in the reeds, swamps stop being dead space on the map and become some of the best places to start or expand a long-term world.
