Pocket Wikipedia Mod — your in-game wiki book when you don’t feel like alt-tabbing every five minutes.
Pocket Wikipedia Mod turns a simple book into a full knowledge hub you can carry in your hotbar. Instead of pausing to grab your phone or search a website, you just hold a regular book, open the menu, and pull up info on whatever you’re dealing with right now. New block you’ve never seen? Weird mob behavior? Trying to remember what an enchant actually does at higher levels? You flip open the “wiki book” and the answer is sitting right there inside your world, no browser, no distractions, just straight info while you keep playing.
The UI is built to feel like a real guide, not a wall of text. You can browse by category when you’re just curious, or run filtered searches when you know exactly what you’re looking for. Want pure stats for a fight, or just drops, or some lore to give your build theme? You can tune the search to focus on descriptions, stats, or flavor separately. Mechanics & guides, structures & landmarks, enchantments & upgrades, plus the usual mobs/items/blocks/biomes collection — it all lives in one clean menu. Picture this: you’re deep in a cave, your friend asks “what does this enchant actually do?”, you pop open the book and read it off like the squad’s walking rulebook.
Where it really shines is long-term survival and mod-heavy worlds. When you come back after a break and forget how half the systems work, the wiki book is your memory card. You can treat it like a quest planner too: check an entry on a structure or mechanic, then go chase it right away without leaving the game. On servers, it’s perfect for newer players who spam questions in chat — you just tell them, “grab a book, open the menu, it’s all there,” and they can learn at their own pace.
A couple of small life hacks: keep the Pocket Wikipedia book locked into the same hotbar slot so your fingers always know where it is. Use the random topic feature with friends as a mini-game: whatever entry pops up, that’s the next thing you hunt for, build around, or test in your world. And if you’re the “teacher” on a realm, this addon basically lets you turn any starter house into a real library — one book, infinite answers, and no one needs to leave the session just to look something up.
