MAGIC EXPANSION Mod — a compact spell system that lets you turn simple enchanted books into real combat magic in your survival world.

MAGIC EXPANSION Mod takes the enchanted books you normally stash in chests and turns them into actual spells you can craft and use in fights. Instead of just slapping books on tools and armor, you convert them into magic that you trigger on demand, which feels way more active than just stacking protection enchants and hoping for the best. Every spell in this first release is craftable, so if you’re willing to hunt structures, trade with villagers, or grind for books the usual Minecraft way, you slowly unlock a small but deadly spell loadout that works perfectly in normal survival on Minecraft Bedrock or MCPE, even with achievements on.

Fire Magic is your basic “let’s blow something up” button. You cast a fireball that hits hard, burns, and pops with an explosion, which is perfect for clearing tight groups of mobs or forcing some distance when you’re getting swarmed. Once you’re comfortable with it, Fira Magic feels like leveling up that same idea: the fireball is stronger, the explosion is bigger, and it’s the one you reach for when you just want a pack of enemies gone. Soul Fire Magic keeps the same vibe as Fire Magic but moves faster, so it’s better when you’re dealing with targets that won’t sit still or when you’re trying to land shots across awkward terrain. It feels great in open areas, on server arenas, or when you’re defending a base and need your shots to connect quickly.

Lightning Magic changes the rhythm completely. Instead of slowly watching a projectile travel, you call a strike straight down, popping lightning and a small blast in one go. It’s nasty against single strong targets or anything stuck in water, and it instantly makes storms and night hunts more fun because you’re the one dropping bolts for once. For control, Paralyzed Magic is the quiet MVP: you cast it to lock things down, slowing or locking a target long enough for you or your friends to finish the job with normal weapons. In co-op on a Realm or server, one player running Paralyzed while others swing swords or fire bows turns fights into coordinated takedowns, especially against bosses or modded mobs. All of this lives on top of your regular survival loop, so you’re still mining, building, and exploring like usual—just now you’ve got a pocket spellbook built completely from enchanted books you would have found anyway, and combat feels way closer to a real magic expansion than just another weapon pack.
