Door Air Pockets Mod — simple underwater doors that instantly turn into mini breathing stations every time you place them in the ocean.

With Door Air Pockets Mod, you don’t need to spam water-breathing potions or panic-swim back to the surface every time your bubbles drop. Any time you place a normal vanilla door underwater, the water inside that door space is cleared and replaced with air. You just step inside, catch your breath, reset your nerves, and then get back to mining or exploring like nothing happened. It feels like carrying around a pocket-sized dive shelter that works anywhere you can slap a door down.

This is perfect for survival players in Minecraft Bedrock or MCPE who like pushing deep ocean content but hate how unforgiving the timer is. Clearing out ocean monuments, digging into underwater ore veins, or checking shipwrecks becomes much more manageable when you can drop a door and instantly buy yourself time. You can string doors along a tunnel as you mine, turning a long underwater dig into a chain of safe spots. It’s especially nice early game, when you might not have conduits or a steady supply of potions yet but still want to grab all that loot sitting just under the waves.



Builders get a lot out of it too. If you’re making underwater bases, glass tunnels, or submerged farms, Door Air Pockets Mod makes the “construction phase” less painful. You can place doors while draining rooms, using them as temporary work pods while you clear water, place blocks, and adjust designs. It keeps the process fast and less frustrating, so you spend more time shaping your build and less time wrestling with drowning damage. The fact that it works with all vanilla doors also means you can pick whatever wood type fits your style without worrying about compatibility.

The addon even plays nicely with custom content. As long as another addon’s door item ID ends with “_door”, the air-pocket effect will kick in on those doors too, so modern doors, sci-fi doors, or themed pack doors can become functional underwater shelters. On Realms or servers, Door Air Pockets Mod turns ocean runs into something almost everybody in the group can handle, not just the players stacked with late-game gear. Toss a few doors in your inventory, head for the water, and you’ve got a cheap, reliable way to stay alive while you strip-mine the ocean floor or build out your next underwater project.
