Compass Radial Screen UI Mod — a clean on-screen compass that finally tells you where you’re facing without spamming coordinates all over your screen.
With Compass Radial Screen UI Mod installed, you don’t have to live in the F3-style coordinate mindset anymore. Instead of constantly checking numbers or guessing which way you turned, a smooth radial compass sits at the top of your screen and quietly tells you if you’re looking north, south, east, west, or anywhere in between. It updates in real time as you move your camera, so you can sprint through forests, cross oceans, or dig through mountains and always know which direction you’re actually going. It feels like something that should have shipped in Minecraft Bedrock by default, just done in a way that doesn’t clutter the rest of your HUD.
The pack is built to play nice with almost every other UI or texture pack you’re running. There’s a tiny delay baked in so it doesn’t overwrite or remove titles and announcements that pop up in your world, which means boss bars, map titles, and custom messages still show up like they’re supposed to. Unless you’re using something that directly edits the same hud_screen.js file, you can stack this with shaders, texture packs, and other HUD tweaks and forget about it. It lives at the top of your view and just quietly does its job while you focus on building, mining, or fighting.
In regular survival, Compass Radial Screen UI Mod is a huge quality-of-life upgrade. You can mark bases by direction, run long trips in a straight line, and actually follow “go west until you hit the ocean” type directions without opening maps every five seconds. It’s especially good on Realms or servers where you’re giving directions to friends, because you can literally say “keep heading northeast” and know they’ll see it on screen. Builders can line up roads, walls, and big projects with proper cardinal directions, and explorers can do big loop routes without getting totally lost on the way back.
For PvP and mini-games, the compass becomes a callout tool. You can shout “enemy east” or “loot south” and everyone on your team immediately understands where to look. No coordinates, no spam, just a quick glance at the radial. If you’re tired of turning your HUD into a debug screen but still want real navigation tools in Minecraft Bedrock or MCPE, this mod gives you exactly that: a simple, readable compass that sits out of the way and makes every trip across your world easier to manage.
