AFK Status mod — turns idle players from silent statues into clearly marked sleepers so everyone instantly knows who’s actually there.

AFK Status mod watches how you move and quietly handles all the “is this guy here or not?” drama for you. Stop moving for a few seconds and your character doesn’t just stand frozen in place anymore: they lie down like they’re sleeping, your name tag updates with a clean [AFK] tag, and the server gets a small notice that you’ve checked out for a bit. The moment you nudge your stick, press a key, or even look around, the mod snaps you back to normal standing posture and removes the tag. It feels natural in survival, Realms, and servers because it’s all done with the game’s own look and animations instead of weird placeholder markers.

Once you get used to AFK Status mod, lobbies and bases are way easier to read. When you walk through a community hub or shared storage area, anyone stretched out on the floor with little storm-cloud particles drifting over their head is clearly not playing. You don’t waste time trying to trade with them, invite them to raids, or ping them for help when they’re obviously asleep. Those “angry villager” style particles double as your Zzz indicator, popping up every couple seconds to sell the sleepy vibe without being too flashy or annoying. It looks funny in big rooms, too: one corner full of moving players, another with a line of people laid out like they’ve crashed after a long grind session.



AFK Status mod is especially good for servers and Realms where communication gets messy. If you’re hosting events, running a shop world, or managing a PvE hub, you can tell at a glance who’s actually part of the session right now. No commands, no setup, no special items needed — players just stand still, get flagged AFK after a short delay, then pop back to normal as soon as they wake up and move again. Stealth Mode is there for PvP-focused worlds, giving you a safer way to handle AFK states so you’re not advertising a free kill just because you had to step away. Under the hood it’s built to be light and efficient, so even busy servers can run AFK Status mod without turning it into another source of lag. If your world spends a lot of time with people tabbed out, chatting, or alt-tabbing between tasks, this addon makes everything feel more organized and alive.
