Walk Straight Line Only Addon

Mods / Mods 1.21

Walk Straight Line Only Mod — a brutal “don’t step off the line” challenge that turns your whole world into one long corridor to the End.

With Walk Straight Line Only Mod, Minecraft Bedrock stops being a sandbox and becomes a tunnel run. The second you spawn in, you notice it: you can only move in a single straight line. No circling around a tree, no strafing a creeper, no casually walking over to that village off to the side. If it’s not directly in front of you, you either build out to it or accept that it’s gone. That one axis you’re allowed to walk on cuts straight through your world, the Nether, and the End, so every step forward matters and every block you place has to respect that invisible track you’re stuck on. It feels like doing a hardcore run on rails, where the map fights you just as much as the mobs do.

Simple survival gets weird fast. Trees that grow just a little off the line are suddenly puzzles instead of free wood. Caves that cross your path become massive risks, because dropping down is easy but climbing back while staying on your line takes real planning. You start using blocks like extensions of your body: placing bridges, scaffolds, and staircases that keep your feet glued to the one coordinate you’re allowed to occupy. Every village, ruin, shipwreck, or structure that happens to intersect your path feels like a jackpot, because you can’t just drift over to loot whatever you see on the horizon. Food, ores, and loot are all “take it if it touches the line or leave it behind forever.”

The mod solves one huge problem for this kind of challenge: portals. Since you can’t walk around to build proper frames, Walk Straight Line Only Mod adds craftable portal options so you can still reach the Nether and the End without breaking the core rule. That means your straight line doesn’t just stop at the ocean or a bad biome; it continues right through hell and into the dragon’s arena. On MCPE, Realms, or singleplayer worlds, it’s perfect for people who love “Minecraft but…” challenges: you can start a fresh seed, lock yourself to one line, and see how far you can get before the world, a bad jump, or the Ender Dragon finally shuts your run down.
