The Companions Mod — meet Conelli, a non-combat support buddy you can tame, evolve, and take on every Minecraft Bedrock adventure.

The Companions Mod is for anyone who’s tired of doing every mining trip and long walk home solo. The whole idea is simple: you get real companions with their own mechanics, and future updates add more of them with different abilities. Right now the first companion is Conelli, and she’s not just “another cute mob.” She’s built to keep you alive and moving. Conelli doesn’t attack at all, so you’re still the fighter, but she makes survival runs feel way less sketchy because her job is straight support and defense.

Finding her is part of the fun. Conelli only shows up inside her own house, a small structure that generates exclusively in birch forests. So instead of crafting a spawn egg or hoping for a random spawn, you’re actually exploring until you spot her place. When you step inside, you’ll find carrots and golden carrots, themed decoration, and the Carrot Hammer sitting there as an exclusive weapon you can’t get anywhere else. It feels like a little “starter base” moment where you gear up, grab supplies, and then decide if you’re ready to bring Conelli with you.



Taming Conelli is strict: it only works with a Golden Carrot, no shortcuts. Once she’s yours, she has 25 hearts of health and will follow you around on your adventures. The big clutch feature is that she automatically heals you when your health is low, which can save you in those messy situations like getting jumped in a cave, taking fall damage while building, or getting cornered when you’re out exploring at night. She also runs away from monsters to avoid getting wrecked, which fits her support role, and you can heal her using Golden Carrots when she takes damage. If you’re building or just want her safe, you can make her sit and keep her in place.

The Companions Mod also lets you push Conelli into a permanent upgraded form using Ambrosia. Ambrosia is crafted in the Brewing Stand using 1 Mundane Potion and 1 Enchanted Apple, and once you use it, Conelli becomes Enhanced Conelli with boosted stats: 50 hearts, increased speed, higher resistance, and much more efficient healing for you. That upgrade is perfect for risky zones where you want constant support without babysitting. And if you like having a unique weapon early, the Carrot Hammer is a legit pickup: it can only be found in Conelli’s House, it hits for 5 hearts of damage, it has a 50% chance to immobilize enemies for 1 second, and it’s compatible with sword enchantments, so it can stay useful as you progress in Minecraft Bedrock / MCPE.

— Select new textures in the settings;
