Vampires Addon

Mods / Mods 1.21

Vampires Mod — fight vampires, catch Sanguine Sickness, and come out the other side as a vampire who can grow stronger and even turn into a bat.

Vampires Mod drops a new threat into Minecraft Bedrock and then gives you the option to become that threat yourself. Vampires can show up throughout your world and they come in different power levels, so you’re not dealing with one copy-paste enemy every time. The hook is the infection system: if you use a Vampire Fang that drops from vampires, or you get hit by one, you’ll catch Sanguine Sickness. That sickness lasts about half a Minecraft day by default, and it’s configurable in the settings, so you can make the transformation feel faster or slower depending on how hardcore you want the world to be. Once the sickness runs out, you turn into a vampire, and now the game shifts from “survive them” to “learn how to live as one.”

The progression is what makes this addon stick. As a vampire, you can become more powerful by exploring your world and infusing items with blood. It’s not just a one-time status swap; it’s a path you build over time, like you’re leveling your character through what you actually do in survival. And if you push far enough, you unlock a bonus ability: turning into a bat. That’s the kind of late-stage payoff that makes the whole vampire route feel worth committing to, especially if you like having a clear “end goal” for your playstyle.

Gear is a big part of it too. Vampires Mod adds a new ore, Silver, alongside gold being used in a special way, because you can infuse Gold and Silver with blood to make new gear with unique effects. That gives you a reason to mine again even if your world is already established, because now there’s a new material chase tied directly to the vampire system. It also lets you infuse a select few other items, like turning a golden apple into a forbidden fruit, which is a cool twist because it takes a familiar item and makes it feel like part of the vampire progression instead of just another snack you hoard.

The addon also helps you not get lost in the sauce: when you create a world with Vampires Mod, you receive a guidebook that explains the details and includes settings for the addon. So if you want to tweak how long Sanguine Sickness lasts or just learn the system without guessing, it’s all in-game. If you want a Minecraft Bedrock world with roaming vampire enemies, an infection-to-transformation mechanic, and a progression route built around blood infusion, Vampires Mod gives you a full “become the monster” survival arc without needing anything outside the world.
