Vanilla Minecraft Bedrock makes combat incredibly basic since you only ever choose between a sword or an axe, leaving very little room for different fighting styles during village raids or cave exploration. The Quartermaster’s Armory expands this limited system by introducing an extensive collection of specialized medieval and tactical weaponry directly into survival mode. Instead of just grinding iron or netherite to increase a single damage stat, this addon forces you to consider weapon weight, reach, and unique attack patterns.
Each weapon type requires its own crafting progression using standard world resources like iron ingots, leather, and wood planks, ensuring that the new gear fits naturally into the early and mid-game progression without breaking the server balance. Shields and secondary defensive utilities are also adjusted to complement the new weapon weight classes.
