Decorating a Minecraft Bedrock survival base usually means relying on the same old paintings, flower pots, and armor stands. If you want a totally unique way to show off your progress, the Mob Toys Addon introduces a massive custom collectible system. Instead of building giant blocky statues, you can now gather miniature, officially styled toy figures of the game's classic mobs to display around your home.
Meet the New Trader: The Seller
You don't craft these collectibles on a standard crafting table. This mod introduces a brand new custom NPC known as the Seller. Tracking down this trader is the only way to get your hands on a Toy Box. Aside from the blind boxes, the Seller actually has a surprisingly good trading menu. He stocks several other highly sought-after survival items at very reasonable prices, making him an incredibly useful trader to lock in your base.
The Golden Pickaxe Mechanic
Once you buy a Toy Box, you can't just punch it open or place it on the ground. The addon uses a very specific mechanic to unbox your loot: the Toy Box can only be opened using a Golden Pickaxe. Striking the box with a gold pick is the only way to crack it open and reveal the randomized figure inside. It actually gives you a legitimate reason to keep gold tools stocked up in your storage room.
First Edition Toys and Drop Rates
Because the Toy Box functions like a randomized blind box, finishing your collection requires some serious grinding. The first edition of this MCBE addon launches with six distinct figures, and they are not all handed out equally:
Common Pulls: The Zombie, Cow, and Sheep figures have the highest drop rates, meaning you will see these quite a bit while opening your first few boxes.
Uncommon Pulls: The Enderman sits in the middle of the loot table.
The Rarest Toys: If you want the ultimate bragging rights for your display shelf, the Creeper and the Witch are the absolute rarest figures to obtain.
Since the developer is planning to roll out even more toys in future updates, building a dedicated trophy room to display your rare pulls is a great long-term project for any survival world.
