The Glowing Mobs mod makes every enemy easy to spot in the dark by giving them a naturally colored outline. It includes an adjustable intensity slider and requires the Vibrant Visuals pack to function correctly.
Getting blown up by a creeper hiding in a pitch-black cave is easily the worst part of vanilla Minecraft Bedrock. The shadows in this game are incredibly dark, making nighttime survival annoying. If you want a massive tactical advantage without constantly brewing night vision potions, the Glowing Mobs resource pack solves the problem instantly.
It makes every single creature light up based on its actual texture. You will never get caught off guard while mining again. The main changes include:
Custom natural colors, meaning creepers glow bright green, blazes emit orange, and skeletons shine white.
Full visibility across the Overworld, Nether, and The End without needing to place torches.
A built-in subpack slider letting you tweak the actual glow strength anywhere from 1% up to 100%.
Since this runs entirely as a basic graphics file, there are zero messy scripts or behavior files to lag your game. It just edits the rendering. There is one strict requirement you need to follow though. You absolutely must have the Vibrant Visuals add-on active in your active load order. Put the Glowing Mobs file right above it in your global settings, boot up your realm, and easily spot enemies from miles away.
How to install?
- Download resource pack;
- Run and open the .mcpack file in the game;
- Select a texture in the menu;
- Enjoy!
