If you are tired of swimming through standard vanilla oceans and only seeing the occasional squid or dolphin, this add-on turns your survival world into a massive, terrifying prehistoric sandbox. Jurassic Project - Kingdom of the Giants does exactly what the title promises—it drops some of the absolute largest dinosaurs and marine apex predators straight into Bedrock Edition.
Instead of just trying to survive these massive threats, you can actually tame most of them and basically build your own custom Jurassic Park.
The Prehistoric Roster
The creator went extremely heavy on the scaling here, meaning these mobs will completely dwarf your character.
The Aquatic Terrors
Your oceans get a massive, terrifying overhaul. You are sharing the water with absolute behemoths like the Megalodon and the massive Leedsichthys. The add-on also throws in both the standard Mosasaurus and a Mosasaurus Rebirth variant, giving you the perfect excuse to build a massive aquatic feeding tank at your base.
The Apex Land & Sky Giants
Tyrannosaurus & Spinosaurus: The classic heavyweights. You can actually tame a T-Rex by feeding it cooked beef, while the Spinosaurus prefers a diet of salmon. Having one of these parked outside your base is the ultimate defensive flex.
Titanosaurus: If you want a literal walking mountain, you can tame this colossal sauropod using just sweet berries, which is hilariously simple considering its massive size.
Quetzalcoatlus: You aren't just stuck on the ground. You can tame the standard or the Biosyn variant of this massive flying reptile using salmon, giving you an insane aerial advantage.
Archelon: A massive prehistoric sea turtle that you can recruit by hunting down and feeding it jellyfish.
The Taming Hustle
What makes this add-on fit so well into a standard playthrough is that the taming system doesn't rely on incredibly convoluted mechanics. You don't have to craft weird, hyper-specific custom kibbles on a new workbench. You just need to grind out standard vanilla resources—stocking up on cooked beef, sweet berries, and spending time fishing for salmon. It gives you a great reason to actually build up your farms before you go out hunting for a pet T-Rex.
If you want to completely flip the food chain in your world and command an army of prehistoric titans, this expansion is an absolute must-play.
