The Ashborne Addon brings a massive, dark fantasy vibe straight to your Bedrock world by introducing the incredibly atmospheric Ashborne Forest. Instead of standard green plains or deserts, you get to explore a bleak, ash-covered wasteland where the dead literally rise from the ground as you walk through the biome. It completely changes the standard survival experience, giving you an ominous new environment filled with brand-new structures to explore and an entirely new tier of gear to grind for.
The Warmonger Boss Grind
The absolute main event of this mod is the Warmonger's Greatsword, but getting your hands on it requires a serious, high-stakes combat grind. You cannot just throw some ingots onto a crafting table to get this weapon. First, you have to hunt down creepy new mobs like the Living and Crawling Bonepiles to farm for an Ashen Skull, which has a brutally low two percent drop rate. Once you finally secure that ultra-rare skull, you have to use it to summon and defeat the boss to claim the Warmonger Soul. Using that soul is what actually unlocks the insane, heavy-hitting abilities attached to the greatsword.
Ashen Gear and Wasteland Exploration
While you are out exploring the spooky new structures scattered across the ash biome and endlessly farming those Bonepiles for the skull drop, you also get the chance to craft the brand-new Ashen Armor set. It perfectly matches the grimdark aesthetic of the dead forest and gives you the vital protection you need while fighting off the resurrected hordes.
