Throwing a few incredibly tough bosses into your world always makes a survival run more interesting. The Valkyries++ pack takes heavy inspiration from God of War and the classic Aether mod, dropping a brand-new dimension right into your game. You do not even have to mess around with any experimental toggles to get it running smoothly. The absolute best way to start is by crafting the custom Guide Book, which hands you every single detail on how to reach the new realm and exactly what you need to do to start picking fights.
Boss Fights and Summoning
Instead of just wandering around the new dimension hoping to stumble into a random dungeon, you have to actively trigger these encounters using custom craftable horns. There are three distinct Valkyrie bosses to challenge, and you have to genuinely prepare for a tough fight. The progression loop here is incredibly rewarding because you are not just killing them for standard armor or weapon drops. Beating one of these bosses actually earns you a specific pet horn, completely flipping the script and turning your toughest enemies into your biggest advantage.
Flying Companions and Combat
Once you blow that pet horn, you basically get a boss-tier bodyguard that follows you everywhere. They retain the exact same aggressive fighting styles they used against you in the boss arena, meaning they will absolutely tear through regular vanilla mobs. You have total control over them too. By simply crouching and interacting with your Valkyrie, you open up a custom menu to manage their behavior. From there, you can manually trigger a massive locked Ultimate Ability to wipe out a crowd of enemies, or you can literally just hop on their back and fly them around the map for effortless exploration.
