Using standard X-ray texture packs usually ends up getting you killed. When every single block of stone and dirt becomes completely invisible, trying to navigate a massive cave system turns into a total nightmare. You inevitably end up blindly mining straight into a hidden lava pool or walking right off the edge of a ravine because you literally cannot see the floor. The Outline X-Ray pack completely fixes that massive flaw.
The Wireframe Solution
Instead of just erasing all the junk blocks and leaving you floating in an empty void, this pack applies a clean, distinct outline around the borders of standard blocks like stone, deepslate, and netherrack. It creates a complete visual wireframe grid of the environment around you. You still get the exact same overpowered advantage of seeing all the valuable ores glowing out in the distance, but you never lose track of the actual terrain.
Uncompromised Ore Hunting
Because you can actively see the structural layout of the caves through the outlines, you always know exactly where every single block is located. It completely changes how you strip mine and explore. You can easily block up sudden lava pockets, safely build bridges over massive drops, and actually navigate complex underground systems without constantly taking fall damage, all while making a direct beeline straight for the diamonds.
