The Simple Vein Miner add-on changes resource gathering by letting you break entire ore veins at once. When you mine a single block of any Overworld or Nether ore with the correct pickaxe, the add-on automatically detects and breaks the rest of the connected vein. It integrates directly with vanilla mechanics, meaning it calculates standard tool durability drain and fully registers enchantments like Fortune, Silk Touch, and Unbreaking on every broken block. The system runs in the background without needing any custom menus or setup commands.
Usage and Visuals
This mechanic drastically cuts down the time spent strip mining or clearing out massive cave systems. Because it works on everything from standard surface coal to Ancient Debris, you can gather bulk materials much faster for large-scale survival builds. Since it respects vanilla tool durability and enchantments, you can drop it into a regular survival run without breaking the game economy. The block breaking triggers instantly upon mining the first ore, keeping your screen completely free of unnecessary menus or UI clutter while you tear through deep underground deposits.
