Genshin x Craft Addon

Mods / Mods 1.21

Genshin x Craft Mod — an in-development crossover addon that currently adds Aether’s Star Sword, plus Paimon (fished like a rare catch) and a new Elemental Slime threat.

Genshin x Craft Mod is still in the early stages, and right now it’s basically a “first drop” build where the creator only uploaded the Aether sword that shows up in the initial cut scene. That means you’re not downloading a massive content pack with a hundred systems yet—you’re getting a focused taste of what this project is aiming for. If you like testing overpowered gear, messing with mobs, and watching a mod grow update by update, this is the kind of addon that’s fun to keep on your radar because you can actually feel the “work in progress” vibe while you play around with what’s already in.

The headline item is the Aether Star Sword, a sword equipment piece that’s described as way too powerful in a 1v1 and even strong enough to defeat the Warden. It hits for 42 attack damage and comes with 9999 durability, so it’s clearly designed as a ridiculous power weapon rather than something meant to fit normal survival balance. The catch is important though: it’s only available in creative, so you’re not grinding for it or crafting it in a regular playthrough. This makes it perfect for creative testing worlds where you want to stage fights, build an arena, or just see what happens when you swing a completely unfair sword at the toughest mobs. If you do manage to wear it down, it can be repaired with iron ingots, and the mod notes you’ll need a lot of iron ingot for that repair process, which fits the idea that even an OP weapon should still have some kind of cost attached to keeping it going.

On the mob side, the addon adds Paimon as a new mob you can obtain through fishing. That alone makes the early gameplay loop kind of funny, because instead of “go here, craft this,” you’re basically doing chill fishing sessions and hoping you pull something special out of the water. Once you get Paimon, she behaves like an allay, so you’re getting that same kind of helper vibe rather than a straight-up fighter. The mod also mentions a new monster called Elemental Slime, but doesn’t dump extra details yet, so it’s more like a teaser enemy that hints the project is moving toward a bigger roster over time. Right now, Genshin x Craft Mod is best played as a creative sandbox and a preview: grab the Aether Star Sword, stress-test it against heavy mobs like the Warden, fish until you land Paimon, and keep an eye out for what the creator adds next.
