GUN + Mod — a military-style gun add-on for Minecraft Bedrock that keeps things survival-friendly by making you craft your weapons with iron ingots and a few extra materials.
GUN + Mod is for players who want that clean military loadout vibe in their world without turning survival into some weird creative-only showcase. The whole loop is simple: if you want guns in Survival mode, you don’t just magically grab them—you craft them first. That instantly makes it feel more “earned,” because you’re still doing the normal grind: mining, smelting, organizing, then deciding what you’re spending your resources on. The main material for each gun is iron ingots, so your progress is tied to how well you can keep iron flowing. If you’re early-game, that means your first priority is getting a steady iron routine going, because every upgrade you want basically starts with “do I have enough ingots?”
What I like about that setup is how it naturally fits the way most people already play Minecraft Bedrock survival. You’re already mining iron for armor, tools, and utility stuff, so crafting guns becomes a real choice instead of a free bonus. You can’t just spam-craft everything unless you’re actually keeping up with mining and smelting, and that makes the add-on feel balanced by default. The description also says you can find the rest of the ingredients in the crafting table, which keeps the whole thing grounded in normal gameplay—no confusing external systems, no hunting for some mystery workstation. You’re in your base, you open the crafting table, and you build what you want from there.
Some guns also need dye or leather, which is a nice little twist because it forces you to think beyond “mine iron, done.” If you’re trying to stay efficient, you’ll start treating dyes and leather like part of your loadout prep instead of random junk. Dyes are easy to stock up on if you’re the kind of player who grabs flowers while traveling or keeps a small farm going, and leather is one of those materials you’ll appreciate more once you realize you keep running out when you actually need it. It adds a little planning to the crafting side without forcing any complicated steps or weird requirements.
In actual survival play, GUN + Mod feels best when you treat it like part of your regular base routine. Mine a batch of iron, smelt it, stash ingots in a dedicated chest, and keep your dye and leather nearby so crafting doesn’t become a scavenger hunt every time. That way, when you’re about to go exploring or just want to gear up before a risky night, you can craft what you need quickly and get moving. GUN + Mod keeps the focus on crafting progression and resource management, so it slides right into Minecraft Bedrock survival without needing you to rewrite how you play.
