The Last Dragon Addon

Mods / Mods 1.21

The Last Dragon Mod is all about giving your survival world that “I’ve got a flying mount now” moment without turning it into a complicated grind. The add-on adds a large dragon you can tame and ride, and it doesn’t lock the whole experience behind one single method. Wild dragons and dragon eggs can both spawn in the world, so you can either hunt down a wild one or go the “raise it” route through an egg.

Taming is straightforward and tied to real survival food you already stock up on. Wild dragons can be tamed using cooked chicken, cooked beef, and cooked porkchop. That makes the early game feel immediately relevant, because you’ll be farming animals and cooking food anyway, and now those same supplies become your path to a dragon. The egg route is different: a dragon egg has to be lit with a flint and steel. You right-click with the flint and steel, then wait 5 minutes, and after that you can tame it. That waiting window makes it feel more like you’re actually hatching something instead of instantly spawning a mount.

Once you’ve got your dragon, you can equip it with a saddle and ride it. Flying control is simple: you fly through the air by looking up or down, so your camera aim becomes your climb and dive. In normal Minecraft Bedrock survival vibes, this is the kind of upgrade that changes how you travel and how you plan your days—suddenly long-distance runs don’t feel like a chore, and scouting terrain becomes way easier because you can get a top-down view without building towers every five minutes.

Practical tip: if you’re going for a dragon early, keep a stack of cooked meats ready before you start searching so you don’t find a wild dragon and realize you can’t tame it on the spot. If you’re using the egg method, hatch it somewhere safe where you won’t get distracted during the 5-minute wait, because it’s annoying to set it up and then forget about it mid-run. The Last Dragon Mod is a clean Minecraft Bedrock “get a dragon mount” addon: find a wild dragon or egg, tame it with cooked meats or after lighting the egg, then saddle up and fly by aiming your view.
