Health Bar (API) Mod — a clean “read the fight instantly” addon that puts health bars on mobs (and usually players too, depending on how it’s set up) and uses colors instead of numbers so you don’t have to squint or do math mid-combat.
What makes this style work is the split-second clarity. You’re not staring at tiny text; you just glance and know if something’s one-hit, still dangerous, or basically full HP. That’s huge in Bedrock when fights get messy—raids, caves, spawners, Nether runs, or PvP scrambles where you don’t have time to count hits. It also makes teamwork smoother on servers/Realms, because you can call targets like “focus the orange one” and everyone instantly knows who’s about to drop.
Here’s how the colors read in actual gameplay:
Red = near death (finish them, don’t back off)
Orange = critical (they’re close, but still can clutch if you mess up)
Yellow = light warning (mid-fight zone—don’t get greedy)
Green = healthy (they’ve got plenty left, play smart)
Blue = very healthy (fresh target / tanky moment, expect a longer fight)
This mod is especially nice for “no HUD clutter” players, because it keeps info visual and fast. If you’re running RPG-style addons, boss mobs, or just grinding mobs for loot, Health Bar (API) Mod makes the whole loop feel more fair—you can tell when to push, when to reset, and when to stop chasing and heal
