Experience Storage mod — turn your XP into a real currency with tanks, pipes, and slick redstone control.

The flow is simple and kind of addicting. XP here is stored as raw points, not levels, so an empty tank holding about 2,920 points lines up to roughly 40 levels if you’re at level zero. That detail matters, because Minecraft’s level curve gets steeper the higher you go; dump two full tanks together and you’re not walking out with “80 levels,” you’re sitting closer to the low 50s from zero. Treat the tank like an XP battery. Feed it from the sides or the top, pull from the bottom only, and chain multiple tanks downward so overflow trickles into the next one without you babysitting. When it’s time to cash out, either bottle up straight from the tank for a tidy enchant run, pulse an output with redstone for precise amounts, or in a pinch just break the tank and vacuum everything you banked. It’s clean for survival pacing: grind once, store smart, spend when it matters.

Pipes are the secret sauce. They move XP orbs along a path you design, but they won’t magically pick a new direction unless they hit a turn or a dead end. That means your layouts need intentional corners and proper endpoints at tanks, valves, or an extractor. Build an “XP spine” under your base that catches drops from farms and workstations, and you’ll never trip over loose orbs again. The valve block is your off switch; slot one in before a tank to hard-stop flow during upgrades, or park it under a tank so nothing leaks while you craft. Redstone ties the whole thing together. A lever beside the tank becomes a payout switch for teammates on a Realm, and a simple clock turns your pipe into a metered drip that tops you off between anvil repairs without wasting points.

The extractor is where this becomes spicy for farms. Stand, crouch, and it yoinks your XP directly into the network when you don’t want to carry levels around. If mobs die on it, their orbs feed the pipe automatically, so stacking it under a grinder turns your spawner into a true “AFK to bank” system. Just keep the floor clean and the corners obvious so orbs don’t stall on weird geometry. And then there’s the orb fairy. Think of it as a greedy little living XP orb that spawns at night or in caves. If you poke it, it spits tiny XP until it dries up and vanishes; if you let it cuddle, it’ll siphon your hard-earned levels and bolt. Light makes it disappear, so protect storage rooms and pipe hubs with good lighting, then hunt them in dark tunnels when you actually want the payout. On servers, set up an XP ATM in town with a public tank, a redstone-gated valve, and a posted “deposit here” extractor so players can stash points before risky boss runs. Minecraft Bedrock XP storage addon, MCPE experience tank and pipes—once you wire this into your base, levels stop being a headache and start feeling like a proper resource you can route, trade, and spend on your terms.
