Pat Your Fellas Addon

Mods / Mods 1.21

Pat Your Fellas — sneak + interact to pet literally any mob in Bedrock, all vibes, zero grind.

This addon is pure serotonin for your survival loop. No stat buffs, no weird menus, just that tiny moment where you crouch, tap interact, and give your wolf, cat, or even a wandering villager a little head pat before you head back into the mines. It sounds small, but it actually changes how your world feels day to day. After a raid, you return to base, patch your gear, and walk the line of your tamed wolves giving each one a quick pat like a roll call. Before you sleep, you crouch by the bed, give the cat a pat, and listen to the nighttime sounds knowing home actually feels like home. It’s the same survival grind, but warmer, and you’ll catch yourself making tiny rituals around it—pat before a boss, pat before an elytra run, pat when you place the final block on a build.

On touch or controller, think “sneak + use” and you’re good. If you’re on a Realm, this becomes a whole social language. Meet someone at spawn, crouch, pat, and you’re instantly not a threat. Drop into a village market and give the golem a respectful pat before you trade so your clip looks clean. Running a community farm? Pat the cows after breeding like a little “thanks for the leather, buddy” moment, then move on. It doesn’t change balance, so nobody can pay-to-win their way into better pets; it’s just a universal emote that works the same for everyone, which is perfect for SMPs with mixed platforms. If you’re hosting, toss a sign at spawn that says “Sneak + Interact to pet” and watch newcomers figure it out in two seconds.

The fun part is how it mixes with other playstyles. Builders get cinematic b-roll for timelapses: sunrise, pat the base cat, start laying blocks. Redstoners finish a clean contraption, pat the villager who sold them the mending book, and hit record on the satisfying segment. PvP folks will still sweat their matches, but between rounds in the lobby, crouch by the lobby llama and give it a pat for luck. Even explorers can turn it into a travel diary—new biome, new screenshot, pat the first mob you see like stamping a passport. Just be smart around skittish or hostile mobs; patting doesn’t make you invincible, so don’t try to be tender with a creeper and then act surprised.

For search heads and creators, this is exactly what people look up: Minecraft Bedrock pet mod, MCPE petting addon, sneak interact to pet animals, wholesome roleplay Bedrock. Drop it in your pack list, keep your hands off the heavy tweaks, and let Pat Your Fellas add that tiny, human touch your world’s been missing.
