You’ll start spotting the new micro-structures as soon as you leave your starter patch: a half-sunken hut by a river bend, a stone kiosk on a ridge, a timber box wedged into a grove. Each one is a bite-sized objective with a chest that matters, and those chests hold the pieces you need to craft the addon’s weapons—most importantly the Cleaver. Run them like checkpoints on a loop. Move in daylight, circle once to check sightlines, and approach from high ground so you can bail if a patrol drifts in. Pop the chest, grab the goods, and don’t linger; your goal is a stash of components, not an overnight stay.

Treat the crafting step like a milestone, not a victory lap. Before you swing the Cleaver in the wild, take it to a fenced yard and learn its rhythm on a couple of test mobs. Heavy blades demand timing; they reward opening a fight on your terms instead of panic-mashing. Lead with a shield poke, step into range, commit to a single swing, then exit before chip damage stacks. Against mixed groups, tag the front body to break the line, then peel wide so you’re never trading inside a knot. If your world’s enchant RNG plays nice, aim for Sharpness to keep hits honest, Unbreaking to stretch durability, and Mending only after you’ve proven you’ll actually keep the blade in hand.



Structure runs get safer when you build habits. Carry torches and plant two at each doorway—left side on entry, right side on exit—so your brain always knows where “out” is under pressure. Break suspicious floor blocks before stepping onto them, and check ceilings for dripstone or gravel pockets that can ruin a good day. Keep a bed and a barrel two structures behind your current push; set spawn, dump loot, then keep moving with a light pack so a wipe doesn’t erase an hour. On coastlines, chain huts by boat; inland, draw a shallow S through plains and savanna where visibility is clean and sprint lines aren’t broken by forest snags.

Co-op turns the mod into a tidy circuit. One player scouts ahead marking finds with banners, one is the breaker who opens chests and clears the interior, one acts as courier, ferrying parts back to the last safe cache so the team never loses a haul to a surprise respawn. When the Cleaver comes online, rotate it through hands so everyone learns its spacing; the person who understands the weapon best should anchor village defenses and raid clean-up while others kite adds into safe lanes. If you’re playing long sessions, keep a “repair tray” at your base entrance—anvil, spare iron, a stack of food—so you can top off gear between loops without wandering into storage limbo.

The payoff is simple: exploration stops being aimless, and combat stops being coin-flip chaos. The little structures feed a clear progression, the blade asks you to slow down just enough to make better choices, and your world fills with tiny stories—“the ridge kiosk that finished my craft,” “the river shack I almost lost it at dusk,” “the village street where the Cleaver earned its name.”
