Sieged! Mod — medieval warfare for Minecraft Bedrock with controllable siege engines, pillager castles to assault, wave-based sieges you can trigger, and recruitable soldier units for full-on battles.
Sieged! Mod is built for players who want their world to feel like an actual war zone instead of just “hit mob, take loot, repeat.” The core fantasy is castle warfare: you roll up on enemy fortifications, crack them open with siege weapons, and fight through defenders like you’re taking back territory. It’s not just a decoration addon where you place a cool catapult and forget about it—Sieged! Mod is centered on active combat and strategy, so every attack feels like a plan you execute instead of random swinging. Whether you’re defending your own realm or going on the offensive, the addon sells that medieval vibe hard: walls exist to be broken, and castles exist to be stormed.
The big headline feature is the siege engines. Sieged! Mod lets you control authentic medieval war machines, including explosive catapults and heavy trebuchets. That instantly changes how fights feel because you’re not only dealing damage with handheld weapons—you’re bringing tools that can reshape the battlefield. Siege engines turn a fortress from “annoying to push into” into “a puzzle I can solve with firepower.” You can weaken defenses at range, create openings, and force enemy units into chaos before you ever step through the gate. In a Bedrock world, that kind of controlled destruction is the difference between a boring raid and an actual siege.
The targets for all that power are pillager castles. Sieged! Mod has you discovering these fortifications and assaulting them, which gives exploration a real purpose: you’re not just wandering for scenery, you’re hunting for the next stronghold to take down. And once you find one, you can trigger the real event. If you sound a horn near enemy fortifications, it kicks off intense wave-based battles, which is where the addon gets that “hold the line” pressure. Waves mean you can’t just sprint in, slap a few mobs, and call it done. You’ve got to manage space, survive the pushback, and keep your momentum while the fight escalates. If you want even more challenge and better rewards, you can use ominous bottles to crank up the difficulty, which makes the whole system feel like it has a risk-versus-reward switch you control.
You’re not fighting alone either. Sieged! Mod includes soldier units: you can recruit villager warriors and archers to fight alongside you, which makes sieges feel like actual battles instead of solo dungeon runs. On the enemy side, you’re dealing with deadly pillager champions in close combat, so you’ve got real threats that punish careless pushes. That mix is where the strategy comes in. The addon encourages you to plan: soften defenses with siege engines, create openings, then storm the castle and clear what’s left with your troops backing you up. Sieged! Mod is basically the medieval war fantasy done the way Minecraft players actually enjoy it—big attacks, controllable machines, waves of enemies, and that satisfying moment when the castle finally falls.
