The Demonic Sword addon introduces an incredibly aggressive, high-risk Nether weapon that is perfect if you want to completely dominate your survival world or PvP realm. Forging this blade gives you access to a heavy-hitting weapon that sweeps with fire, but it comes with a massive catch. The sword is literally alive and feeds on your energy, meaning it constantly drains your hunger bar the entire time you are holding it. You have to play extremely fast and make sure you have plenty of food on standby if you want to wield it effectively without starving to death in the middle of a fight.
Infinite Damage Scaling
What makes this weapon absolutely broken in a long-term playthrough is its internal power system. Every single kill you rack up permanently stacks bonus damage onto your normal attacks, and there is absolutely no upper limit to how strong the blade can get. The creator included two different variants depending on your specific world setup. If you are running a strict faction or PvP server, you can use the version that only counts player kills, granting an extra point of damage for every six players you take down. If you want a more traditional survival experience, the combined PvE variant lets you scale your damage by killing either six players or sixty standard mobs, turning you into an unstoppable powerhouse the longer you keep the sword.
The Demon Aura Skill
If the massive base damage is not enough, you can also trigger a devastating area-of-effect attack called Demon Aura by simply holding sneak for four consecutive seconds. The sword erupts with twisting soul-flame tentacles that crawl outward in a massive seven-block radius, dealing heavy damage to everything caught in the blast and completely doubling that damage if the target is already below half health. On top of the insane burst damage, the attack cripples your enemies with severe Slowness and Wither effects while simultaneously granting you a massive speed boost and literally healing you for every single entity you hit. Just make sure you remember to toggle on the Beta APIs in your world settings before you load in, otherwise this insane magical combat system will not function properly.
