Zombie Horde Mod

Vanilla zombies usually stop being a real threat the second you craft a basic shield and an iron sword. This add-on completely changes that dynamic by turning standard nighttime spawns into a legitimate, aggressive apocalypse. It perfectly captures that massive, overwhelming zombie invasion feeling you always see in cinematic game trailers, but actually brings it directly into standard Bedrock gameplay.
A Balanced Apocalypse
A lot of horde mods just artificially crank the spawn rates to the maximum until your game crashes from the lag. This one takes a much smarter approach. It uses a custom system to make the zombies spawn more frequently and hunt you down way more aggressively, but it is carefully balanced to stay survival-friendly. You actually have to fortify your base, build real defenses, and watch your back, but you will not get instantly spawn-trapped by a thousand mobs the second the sun goes down.
Seamless Mod Compatibility
The absolute best part about this add-on is how it works under the hood. The creator managed to pull off this massive horde mechanic without actually touching the base zombie.json or any vanilla entity behavior files. Because the horde mechanics are driven by a custom system layered over the top, you are still fighting 100% standard Mojang zombies. That means you can easily drop this into your loadout alongside almost any other weapon, armor, or animation add-on without causing conflicts or breaking your world.
