Most lucky block mods are incredibly chaotic, usually either giving you a stack of dirt or instantly blowing up your entire base. The Better Lucky Block add-on fixes that by introducing a strictly balanced, tiered loot system that doesn't completely derail your survival progression the second you place one down.
A Balanced Grind
Instead of purely random, world-breaking outcomes, the drops here are heavily weighted like a legitimate RPG loot table. The vast majority of the time, you are pulling Common or Uncommon drops—basic essentials like food and iron, or a helpful handful of diamonds, XP bottles, and ender pearls. It makes opening these blocks feel like a genuinely reliable supplement to your normal mining runs rather than a massive, dangerous gamble. If you roll a little higher into the Rare tier, you instantly skip some crafting by pulling solid diamond armor and shields to keep you going.
Chasing the Jackpot
The real reason you want to keep stockpiling and breaking these, though, is for those massive, low-percentage pulls. Hitting that Epic tier drops absolute game-changers like Totems of Undying, Tridents, and Netherite scraps. But if you manage to hit the 1-2% Legendary jackpot, the add-on completely bypasses the endgame grind. Pulling a raw Elytra, fully crafted Netherite gear, or an Enchanted Golden Apple straight out of a block is an insane power spike. Because those top-tier drop rates are so strictly controlled, finally hitting that legendary pull feels incredibly rewarding instead of just feeling like a cheap cheat code.
