The Granny add-on drops a new hostile mob into standard world generation. She spawns naturally during the night cycle and uses an aggressive tracking AI to hunt down players across the map. The entity is also coded to interact with the in-game chat, sending direct text messages during encounters. The add-on works straight out of the box on vanilla settings, meaning you do not need to activate experimental toggles and your world achievements remain enabled.
Usage and Visuals
Because she spawns automatically at night, this add-on directly impacts standard survival runs by making the overworld significantly more dangerous after dark. The tracking AI forces you to move fast and secure shelters rather than just fighting off normal zombies and skeletons.
For custom map creators, the included spawn egg lets you drop the entity exactly where you need her for puzzle builds or closed-room scenarios. Visually, the model adapts the character's original design into the blocky Minecraft aesthetic, making her easy to identify from a distance when she starts pathfinding toward you.
