Biome Injections and Combat Overhauls
The Simple More Skeletons .mcaddon doesn't just slap a new texture over the vanilla skeleton and call it a day. It directly injects eight completely new entity IDs into your map by hijacking vanilla environment tags. Up on the surface, Mossed Skeletons take over Jungles and trigger poison events on hit, while Corsair variants hijack Beach chunks and completely ditch their bows for highly aggressive melee pathfinding. The Nether gets a massive difficulty spike in Soul Sand Valleys, where Executioners spawn holding hardcoded Iron Axes that deal Wither damage on impact, and SoulStealers bypass vanilla armor mitigations entirely by hitting you with raw magic damage. Down in the caves, Warrior Skeletons are locked to underground Y-levels and dynamically calculate Weakness or Instant Damage on their ranged attacks, making standard strip-mining significantly more lethal since those debuffs stack fast during mob swarms.
Nested Entities and Underwater Pathfinding
The most technically demanding part of this pack hits the Ocean biomes. The Fire, Horn, and Bubble Coral variants don't just swim around. The addon uses the engine's rideable component to physically mount them to a custom Zombie Nautilus entity. Dealing with stacked entities is always a headache for server processing, but this pack specifically overrides vanilla water drag physics. This means these variants can flawlessly track your player coordinates and fire arrows or crossbow bolts underwater without the engine slowing the projectiles down or breaking their line-of-sight targeting logic.
Server Overhead and Engine Performance
Because this pack introduces entirely new ranged entities equipped with custom status-effect projectiles and mounted AI, it is going to chew into your global mob cap. The custom models have low enough polygon counts that your client-side FPS will stay perfectly stable, but server-side TPS is a different story. If an active chunk is trying to process multiple nested ocean entities or debuff-calculating cave skeletons during a mob wave, the memory overhead will absolutely cause tick lag on mobile devices and base-model consoles. You have to keep your Experimental Gameplay toggles enabled so these custom spawn rules can properly overwrite the vanilla biome logic. The pack also injects a hidden Potato Skeleton into the registry, but it is hardcoded with an extremely low spawn weight so it only triggers as a rare Easter egg.
