Edds' VeinCapitator Addon

Mods 26 [1.26] / Mods 1.21

Edds' VeinCapitator Addon is a useful feature to mine more wood and ores faster in Minecraft.

Chopping down a massive jungle tree block-by-block or digging out a giant gravel patch is easily the most tedious part of standard vanilla survival. The VeinCapitator add-on completely eliminates that grind by merging two of the most popular quality-of-life mods—Vein Miner and Tree Capitator—into a single seamless Bedrock package.

Instead of automatically activating on every single swing and accidentally destroying your wooden house, the mechanic is intelligently bound to your crouch key. When you sneak and break a log with an axe or an ore with a pickaxe, the add-on instantly calculates the connected blocks and breaks the entire cluster at once. It drops all the wood, leaves, or minerals right at your feet. The best part is how naturally it integrates with your standard progression. It fully respects your tool's enchantments, meaning Fortune will multiply the drops from a massive diamond vein, and Silk Touch will safely drop the raw ores or leaf blocks. It also keeps the survival balance perfectly intact by calculating the exact durability cost for every block broken, so you cannot just clear a hundred pieces of wood for the cost of a single swing.

Because this add-on fundamentally changes how block-breaking and item-dropping are calculated, it functions as a standard behavior pack. As a result, applying it to your world will permanently disable your Xbox Live achievements. However, unlike most heavy behavior mods, the popular version maintained by creator AlienEdds is uniquely coded to function without needing any unstable Experimental Gameplay developer toggles. You just import the lightweight `.mcaddon` file, activate it, and jump into your world. Since it relies on stable, native game rules rather than experimental beta APIs, it won't randomly break every time Minecraft releases a minor version update.

Performance-wise, the add-on is remarkably optimized until you push it to its absolute limits. The engine handles standard trees and average ore veins effortlessly. However, if you are playing on an older budget smartphone or a base-model console and you trigger the maximum 1,000-block break limit on a massive custom tree, the sudden explosion of hundreds of floating item entities will definitely cause a temporary frame stutter. As long as you aren't intentionally trying to crash your game with massive block updates, it runs incredibly smoothly across all devices while saving you hours of mindless grinding.
