RR Server Guard: Anti-Cheat & Creative Blocker Mod — a lightweight Bedrock security script that watches for unauthorized Creative/Spectator swaps, snaps cheaters back to Survival in seconds, and gives admins a simple control panel instead of command spam.
RR Server Guard is made for that exact SMP nightmare: everything’s chill until someone “accidentally” flips to Creative, spawns gear, or starts flying around griefing builds. The addon’s whole pitch is that heavy plugins can be laggy and messy, so this goes the opposite direction—a silent watchdog-style script for Bedrock Edition. It doesn’t try to do a million things at once. It focuses on one core rule: if a player changes their gamemode to Creative or Spectator without permission, the system immediately forces them back to Survival and alerts the chat, so there’s no pretending it didn’t happen.
The way it works is aggressive on purpose. The script monitors player states 20 times per second using the Game API, which means it’s checking constantly for gamemode changes. The “instant block” behavior is the main selling point: the moment a non-admin player switches gamemode, they get reverted in about 0.1 seconds. That’s fast enough that even if someone tries to quickly spawn items or fly somewhere, they don’t get a real window to do damage. And because it only reacts to gamemode changes, it’s designed to avoid dragging down performance. The description claims it has zero impact on server performance (TPS) since it isn’t running heavy nonstop checks for everything, just watching for that specific trigger and responding.
Admin control is handled through a visual menu, which is honestly the right move for Bedrock worlds where typing commands can be annoying. The Admin Control Panel opens by holding a Recovery Compass and doing a long press “use item” action, then from that menu admins can toggle protection on or off or whitelist themselves. That makes it feel like a real server tool instead of something you babysit in chat. You can picture it in actual SMP life: you’re troubleshooting, testing, or doing admin work, and you can quickly flip settings without turning the chat into a command log.
RR Server Guard also includes an admin license system that starts in a restricted “Trial Mode,” giving you 20 minutes to test it. After that, to activate lifetime protection and remove the timer, you open the admin panel, choose “Enter License,” and input the admin key from the official page. Once it’s activated, the protection is meant to run silently in the background forever, which fits the addon’s whole “watchdog” branding: you set it up, then you stop thinking about it.
One important requirement is called out too: the security system relies on Beta APIs to monitor player data, so you must enable that in World Settings -> Experiments. If you don’t, the script can’t stop cheaters. Bottom line, RR Server Guard is a focused Bedrock anti-cheat tool aimed at preventing the most common SMP “cheat” move—unauthorized gamemode switching—while keeping admin control simple and keeping server performance clean.
