Pick Up Display Mod — clean little loot pop-ups in your HUD so you always know exactly what you just picked up without digging through your inventory.
Instead of guessing what dropped in the chaos or scrolling your hotbar after every fight, Pick Up Display Mod quietly shows a small panel in the bottom-right corner every time you grab something. You scoop up a stack of iron, a rare drop, or that one enchanted book buried in a pile of junk, and a quick popup flashes the item icon and amount so you catch it instantly. It feels like the kind of quality-of-life feature that should have been in Minecraft from day one: no loud sounds, no chat spam, just a neat little feed of what’s entering your inventory while you keep your eyes on the action.
In survival runs this is insanely helpful during late-game farming. When you’re clearing out mobs at a big grinder, running ancient debris tunnels, or grabbing loot after a boss fight, you don’t have to pause every thirty seconds to check if you actually got the thing you were hunting for. The HUD will quietly confirm, “yeah, you just snagged that rare drop,” and you can decide whether to keep pushing or head home. It’s also clutch for speed-running early progression: you’ll know the moment you have enough iron, food, or building blocks without opening your inventory mid-sprint. On multiplayer servers, it makes loot-splitting easier too, because you can see exactly what you picked up off the ground during messy fights or shared raids instead of arguing over who grabbed what.
The addon stays lightweight by design. It doesn’t mess with combat, movement, or progression; it just reads what you’re already picking up and mirrors it in a cleaner format on screen. If you’re the kind of player who hates clutter, you’re not locked into a permanent overlay either. You can pop open the configuration with simple commands like /config or /pud:config, adjust things to your liking, or switch the display off when you’re building or recording. That way the feature is always under your control: on when you’re grinding dungeons, off when you’re in full creative-brain mode. Pick Up Display Mod is one of those small UI tweaks that you get used to in a single session and then never really want to play Minecraft without again.
