Where Ghosts Shadow Creatures Mod really shines is down in the deep dark. That area is already tense, and adding a hovering black ghost with a nasty scream on top of everything else makes exploring down there way more intense. You’ll be trying to manage light levels, avoid noise, and suddenly there’s this shadowy figure gliding toward you out of the dark. On Realms or servers, it’s the kind of addon that creates instant “remember that time…” stories when someone gets jumped in a cave or clipped on low health while looting.
