Longer Days Mod — slows down the in-game clock so your survival days and nights last twice as long without changing anything else about how you play.
With Longer Days Mod active, time in your Minecraft Bedrock world stops flying by so fast. A full day–night cycle that normally takes about twenty minutes now stretches to roughly forty, which completely changes the rhythm of survival without touching your loot or difficulty settings. Sunrise hangs in the sky a little longer, midday doesn’t vanish while you’re still laying out a foundation, and night gives you more room to either grind mobs or actually get stuff done instead of sprinting back to bed. It still feels like vanilla, just like someone took the slider for time and nudged it down so you can breathe.
The biggest win is for builders and long-term survival players. With Longer Days Mod, you can start a project in the morning and actually finish a wall, roof, or field before the sun crashes into the horizon. You’re not constantly checking the sky or sprinting through half-finished work just because hostile mobs are about to spawn. Farming, smelting, sorting chests, and planning new builds all feel less rushed. If you’re running a Realm with friends, it’s perfect for relaxed sessions where people log in after work or school and want to make real progress in one in-game day instead of watching the sun speedrun across the sky.
Night benefits just as much. If you’re the kind of player who likes to stay out hunting endermen, zombies, or other mobs for XP and drops, Longer Days Mod gives you plenty of time to roam without the darkness vanishing after one quick lap around your base. You can do proper cave pushes, raid open fields, or farm mobs near your grinder and still have time to regroup before dawn. The slower transitions also make visuals stand out a lot more. Sunrises and sunsets stretch out, which looks great if you’re using shaders, RTX, or packs like Vibrant Visuals and want those moments to actually last instead of flashing by in a couple of minutes.
Because Longer Days Mod only changes how fast the day–night cycle ticks, it fits neatly into almost any style of world: solo survival, co-op Realms, creative building hubs, or mixed modpacks on MCPE. You keep your normal difficulty, your achievements, your world settings—just with a calmer clock that lets you settle into the game instead of constantly racing it. Once you get used to having double-length days and nights, going back to vanilla timing feels weirdly rushed, like someone fast-forwarded your world without asking.
