home and setHome Addon

Mods / Mods 1.21

home and setHome Mod — skip the endless backtracking and treat your bases like real fast-travel points instead of punishment walks.

With home and setHome Mod, you can finally stop counting coordinates and screenshotting every build you care about. You get up to five saved homes per player across all dimensions, each with its own custom name, and you can warp back to them whenever you need. That means your main survival house in the Overworld, your Nether hub, your End grinder platform, your ocean monument base, and that hidden mountain cabin can all sit on your personal “favorites” list. Instead of staring at F3 numbers or trying to remember which direction spawn was, you just pick the home you saved and jump straight there. Long mining trips, Nether explorations, and End raids stop turning into fifteen-minute hikes after the fun part is over.

In regular survival, the addon quietly shifts how you build. You’re free to spread out more because distance doesn’t feel like a punishment. Want a starter house in a plains biome, a proper late-game base in a cherry grove, and a little fishing shack way out on a lonely island? Save each one as its own home and bounce between them depending on what you’re doing that session. If you die far away but still have one of those homes set, it’s way less stressful to recover or reset because you’re never truly locked on the wrong side of the world. You can even dedicate one slot to a temporary “project home” whenever you’re working on a massive build or farm in a new area, then overwrite it later once you’re done.

On Realms and servers, home and setHome Mod really shines. Everyone playing can set up their own small network of bases without clogging spawn with portals and weird tunnels. Friends can say “TP to my End base” or “meet at my Nether home” and you actually can, without stepping through a maze of half-finished roads. It’s perfect for community hubs: one home on your personal base, one on the shopping district, one on a raid arena, one near a big farm, and one wild-card slot for new projects. You still have to explore, gather, and build everything by hand, but once you’ve put in that work, this addon makes moving between the places you care about fast, clean, and way less frustrating.
