Flare Gun | Cave Lighting Weapon Addon

Mods / Mods 26 [1.26]

Let’s be real, diving into those massive cave systems in Minecraft Bedrock is a total nightmare if you don't have an inventory full of Night Vision potions. Spamming torches every five blocks just to see the ceiling gets old incredibly fast. If you're tired of running blind into random creepers, this Flare Gun addon completely changes the cave exploration meta.

Instead of towering up with dirt blocks just to place a torch on a high ledge, you can just aim and fire. This custom weapon shoots actual flare projectiles that fly exactly like arrows and stick directly to whatever surface they hit. They burn bright for a full 120 seconds, totally lighting up massive ravines and abandoned mineshafts while spitting out custom smoke and spark particles. Once the timer runs out, the spent casing just despawns on its own, so your world doesn't get bricked by crazy entity lag.

The absolute best part about this MCPE lighting mod is how it handles the economy. The Flare Gun itself has infinite durability—craft it once, and you are set for the entire playthrough. The recipe just takes some basic copper, iron, redstone, and a stick. The ammo is super cheap too. Mixing gunpowder, paper, and redstone gives you 8 flares per craft, making it totally viable for your day-one survival grind.

It’s not just a fancy flashlight, either. If you get jumped by a horde of zombies in the dark, you can actually use the gun for crowd control. Hitting hostile mobs directly deals fire damage and sets them blazing. If you want to drop a genuinely useful survival tool into your world without breaking vanilla balance, this is easily one of the best Bedrock exploration mods to run right now. It completely removes the most annoying parts of mining so you can just focus on finding diamonds.
