Actual Ore X-Ray completely bypasses standard global resource packs. Instead of relying on static textures that permanently make all stone invisible and break your world's visuals, you can trigger a transparent state on demand and see through solid blocks simply by holding a specific item.
Trigger Mechanics
The add-on ties the block transparency directly to your active inventory slot. You have to physically hold an Ender Pearl in your hand to force the client to render the surrounding terrain as invisible, allowing you to pinpoint ore veins without staring at glitchy textures.
Mining Loop
Once you locate the target blocks, swapping off the Ender Pearl to your pickaxe immediately resets the chunks back to vanilla rendering.
Installation:
— Download McPack
— Install McAddon or McPack files, just open it for this;
— Select new textures in the settings;
— Done.
