Diamond Golems Addon

Mods / Mods 26 [1.26]

The Diamond Golems Addon bypasses traditional vanilla ore generation by injecting a custom, farmable entity directly into the game registry.

Custom Crafting Registry and Loot Tables
To implement the spawn mechanic, the behavior pack modifies the vanilla crafting registry to accept a recipe utilizing eight diamonds and a standard egg, outputting a custom spawn egg item ID. Once killed, the entity calls a heavily modified loot table script to drop raw diamonds and solid diamond blocks. Because this yield is mathematically positive, players can immediately loop the drops back into crafting more spawn eggs. This creates an infinite, self-sustaining resource loop that will completely shatter a standard multiplayer server economy if administrators do not manually regulate crafting access.

Instead of forcing players to strip-mine deepslate Y-levels for economy progression, this behavior pack introduces a craftable spawn egg that generates a bespoke golem variant, turning late-game diamond accumulation into an automated mob-grinding loop.

Entity AI and Server TPS Overhead
The custom entity relies on standard vanilla pathfinding and behavior components. While the low polygon count on the retextured model prevents client-side FPS drops, automated farming infrastructure poses a massive hardware threat. If players utilize water streams or entity cramming to rapidly process these golems in a single loaded chunk, the Bedrock engine will choke. Processing heavy collision physics and rapidly generating high-value dropped item entities aggressively spikes memory allocation. On legacy consoles and mobile hardware, dense golem farms will drastically tank server TPS, forcing immediate tick lag and map-wide rubber-banding.

Experimental Toggles and Setup
Injecting custom items into the survival crafting pool requires enabling the standard Holiday Creator Features experimental toggle before world generation. Failing to activate these parameters causes the recipe to output a broken null item. Admins must monitor active chunk entity limits to prevent players from intentionally crashing the main tick thread through unchecked mass-spawning.
