Spider-Man Project Addon

Mods / Mods 26 [1.26]

The Spider-Man Project Addon overrides standard player movement and mob registries by injecting custom web-swinging mechanics, suit-based buff scripts, and a full roster of villain boss entities into Bedrock. Instead of sticking to basic elytra gliding or reskinned mobs, this behavior pack relies on custom script triggers to handle high-speed momentum physics and complex boss AI patterns across loaded chunks.

Web-Swinging Physics and Server TPS
Executing functional web-swinging forces the engine to run continuous vector calculations based on camera orientation and raycast contact points. Firing a web locks onto a block coordinate and applies immediate directional velocity to the player entity. Moving across the map at high speed creates a massive chunk-loading bottleneck. If multiple players start web-swinging at the same time, the server tick thread struggles to render new terrain fast enough, resulting in severe TPS lag, rubber-banding, and players flying straight into unrendered, invisible chunk borders.

Boss AI and Hardware Constraints
The pack's custom suit system constantly checks active player inventory state every tick to apply hardcoded status effects like Speed, Jump Boost, and Resistance. At the same time, spawning the custom villain bosses places heavy demand on client and server performance. These boss entities use detailed 3D models with unique collision geometry and execute multi-stage area-of-effect attacks. Fighting these entities in dense environments will tank client FPS on mobile devices and base consoles. Server admins need to turn on Beta APIs and Upcoming Creator Features in world settings, while also strictly capping active boss spawns to stop the custom script loops from crashing the realm memory pool.
