Little Plane Addon

Mods / Mods 26 [1.26]

The Little Plane Addon injects a single custom aviation entity into your Bedrock registry, providing a baseline mechanical framework for player-controlled atmospheric flight. Instead of relying on the standard Elytra glide physics, this behavior pack forces the engine to calculate powered thrust and altitude control via a standalone rideable component.

Handling aerial movement requires bypassing standard vanilla gravity parameters. The pack utilizes custom entity behaviors bound to player camera pitch and yaw inputs to determine exact flight vectors. When a player mounts the vehicle, the script intercepts standard directional movement, translating it into forward momentum while completely overriding default fall damage calculations. Because the developer relies on basic rideable and propulsion components rather than complex jаvascript API events, the vehicle functions on stable vanilla architecture without demanding heavy experimental gameplay toggles. The trade-off is that the flight control logic handles closer to a modified high-speed boat mapped to the Y-axis rather than a true aerodynamic physics simulation.

Hardware Overhead and Chunk Rendering
Pushing atmospheric flight at maximum engine velocity heavily stresses client-side chunk generation logic. While the custom polygon geometry for the plane itself is extremely lightweight and will not trigger localized FPS stuttering, moving rapidly across the skybox forces the Bedrock engine to aggressively load and unload terrain data. Base-model consoles and mobile hardware will struggle to render visual geometry fast enough, frequently resulting in pilots flying straight into invisible, unloaded chunks. Server-side TPS remains highly stable because the vehicle lacks complex background AI pathfinding or active projectile raycasting. However, administrators hosting dense multiplayer realms must monitor memory allocation, as simultaneous rapid chunk loading by multiple airborne players will easily spike global network traffic and trigger map-wide rubber-banding.

Installation:
— Download McPack
— Install McAddon or McPack files, just open it for this;
— Select new textures in the settings;
— Done.
